Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are set to battle it out for Malik Tillman, the rising star from PSV Eindhoven.
Tillman, 22, has been one of the standout players of the European football season, impressing in the Champions League for the Dutch club. He has scored three goals and provided two assists in five Champions League matches this season, along with five goals in 12 Eredivisie appearances.
According to Sky Germany, both Spurs and Aston Villa have made serious inquiries about the midfielder’s availability.
Tillman, who spent a loan season at Rangers in 2022/23 and was named PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year, was born in Germany but plays for the United States at the international level.
A product of the Bayern Munich academy, Tillman still has a buy-back option with Bayern, but the German club currently has no plans to bring him back to the Allianz Arena.
